Communication Guidelines

Who's on first?

Design and construction is sometimes simple, many times not. It is much simpler when communication flows freely among all project stakeholders.

Each Help company has a set of Communication Guidelines that clearly state who communicates what information, how often, under what circumstances, and in what format or medium for various scenarios throughout of project lifecycle.

To insure we maximize our respective efficiencies and minimize misunderstandings, we:

  • Put specifications in writing to as much detail as practical
  • Agree to project drawings and sketches prior to constructing anything of significance
  • Communicate, in person, via email, or by phone daily with the customer regarding progress
  • Document decisions and selections in writing
  • Put all change requests in writing
  • Ask that customers do not request services or changes directly from our field employees or subcontractors
  • Ask that our customers immediately share with their project manager any question they have
