Verticross, a customer service and new business launch-focused management consulting firm has created The Help Companies Network. A unique group of design and construction services businesses and launched the first business under this banner, Help Residential Services.
The Help Companies Network will provide common operating systems and business practice standards for a normally diverse set of independent-minded industry participants as well as a common branding theme to help network members stand out in a very crowded field. Help Residential Services, a new company, will provide residential repairs, remodeling services, and as-needed as well as pre-scheduled maintenance services utilizing the network's tools and systems.
Rick Bishop, President of Verticross, and Partner with Integrabuild, a construction industry management consultancy, said "Smaller builders, small general contracting firms, and many specialty construction services businesses want, and need easy-to-use yet effective systems and standards. Additionally, they need help with looking more professional and with marketing their capabilities."
The Help Companies Network was conceived and developed to help provide repeatable, network-wide, customer-focused processes that are often lacking and many times cited as the reason for business failure. "It's not so much that these smaller contractors don't do good work - they do," said Bishop. "It's just that without some help in the areas that they normally do not excel in, they never reach their full potential and rarely build the kind of business they set out to create."
